Sleeping Superhero

I need some advice from all you crafty women and/or moms.
Before we were looking at moving I was attempting my first sewing pattern.
It kinda got shoved on the back burner as we put our house on the market etc etc etc.
As I prepare to tackle all kinds of projects before the end of the year should I move forward with this?
Would you make them or use it as a photo prop for your newest little addition?
I need some feedback!
Sleeping Superheros
My plan was to make these in your average superhero colors as well as more of a vintage/girly style.
Thoughts?

Oh my gosh! Ashley, this is adorable! I have a new little niece coming this month and I would love to make this for her!

  3. I would love some for my big boys they would totally be in to that. How adorable!

  4. I'm not a photographer, but if I were, I would totally use this for a photo prop. It's so unique, not to mention adorable. I'd go through with making the pattern if I were you.

pls make this pattern, I want to test this one as well for you. My kids were asking me for a cape for halloween. I need instructions on how to make this for an older child(ren)

  8. I am a photographer and this is very unique and I haven't seen anything like it- so that would be a big plus for it.
But it is almost too big- maybe a little more narrow so it is just on her back more? A lot of charm of most newborn pictures is the naked baby

  9. oh my goodness this is so cute!

    That is so cute!

However, when I become a mom I think my photo props will be a tutu and an over-sized flower headband.

I don't know what I'd do for a boy though, maybe nothing. The cape IS cute, but I don't think it's something I just HAVE to have. ya know?

  20. I have three girls, but I'd still use one if it was pink! lol You should go for it…. my friend with 3 boys would definitely do this!

  21. Sooo cute! I would absolutely make it .. and for a girl I would add ruffles or lace to give it that vintagey girly feel! Super but sweet!
