My Christmas Mantel

Share

UPDATE: I finally made a tutorial for the weaved burlap stockings! : )

I am so excited to show you my mantel! I have been dying to make these weaved burlap stockings since I made my burlap bed tray. BUT since I’m such a last minute person, I started them only a few days ago and just finished them last night! My goal was to get them up before Christmas…haha! Ok, so let’s just take a look and I’ll tell you about it as we go along!

My Christmas Mantel

Christmas Mantel Main

If you have been reading my posts lately, you know that I am a little obsessed with burlap right now!

Christmas Burlap Vase

Burlap Vase

I spray painted this vase white, added some burlap, ribbon, and twine; then I spray painted some sticks red and now I have a Christmas vase!

I love how these turned out! My plan is to change our silhouettes every year : ) I made the silhouettes using this {tutorial}. Then printed them on fabric using this {tutorial}. Then I nailed each one to the stocking holder using upholstery nails.

I have to toot my horn a little on these. I am in LOVE with them! I stare at them every time I am in my living room! Why? Because they are weaved burlap! Yup.. I love them!

Thanks for looking through ALL My pictures! I was a little excited about finishing so I took a bunch : )

ya know… not only is that wreath and your mantle awesome— but your picture taking skills are pretty darn good too girl!! I wanted to do the yarn wreath but ended up getting 50% off of a hobby lobby $100 wreath instead… not sure if I really saved but it sure is pretty… I think I might treasure it more if I had made it myself.

  35. Just came across this on the CSI Project, I love the whole mantel but especially the stockings! Is there a tutorial somewhere for these? I would LOVE to try this for my family…

  36. I love all of these ideas! So cute and rustic-like which is my theme this year. I love the stockings best because they give me my burlap fix. I’m obsessed with it. Could you post some instructions please? I’d low to do these for my fam this year!

    • Hi Rhiannon, sorry for the late response, it has been crazy over here with the hubs working late. I haven’t had a chance to find the pictures for my old tutorial yet. They are on my old computer and we just moved so it’s all still packed up. I’d be more than happy to email you some basic instructions I emailed another lady. If you think you might need the pictures I’m hoping to post them beginning of next month…hopefully : ) just let me know and I’ll forward those instructions over to you!

      • I can understand busy! But thank you for responding!! That would be wonderful if you could email me the instructions. I should probably be fine without the pictures. I hope at least haha. These are just so adorable and way to cute to pass up for Christmas. I am so excited and can’t wait to try! Thank you so much. My email is padgett22534(at)aol(dot)com.
