Cupcake Topper Tutorial {Lifestyle Crafts}

Share

If you have a minute, I’m over at Craft-O-Maniac, stop by and say hi!

Lifestyle crafts is having another release! I had SO much fun with these dies too! Lifestyle offers It Kits and today they are adding to that with the Label it, Tab it, and Corner it. The awesome thing about these kits is that they come with digital files that you can use in your digital cutters! Awesome right? On top of all that, there are also some new alphabet dies!

Here is what I made with these fun new dies!

Inverted Circles Nesting Die

I made these little guys for Addison’s Pink Lemonade Party! They are super easy, and make any cupcake a whole lot cuter! Actually.. I used them in her mini pies : ) But I’ll probably keep calling them cupcake toppers ; )

You can find a tutorial with pictures on how to use your epic 6 HERE.

Now for the toppers.

Cupcake Topper Tutorial Pink Lemonade Party

One.
I made 12 toppers so I cut out 12 of each of my label it dies that I used. I started with the little squares and glued the number 2 on each of them.

Two.
The topnote shape has little slits in it for you to insert the tabs of squares from step 1. so I just inserted those.

Three.
Next I glued my topnote onto the inverted circles I cut out.

Four.
Who said the backs of crafts can’t be pretty?! I used washi tape to attach the lollipop sticks.

That’s it.. just pop those babies into your cupcakes, mini pies, cakes, or any other dessert you can think of!
