Valentine’s day is not something I typically decorate for. It’s one of those holidays that sneaks up on me, and before I know it it’s over with. This year especially, since it seems we’ve all been sick since ohhh….the beginning of December. We have had colds, stomach bugs, sore throats, giant splinters that keep people from walking, I mean really… this year has been ridiculous. I even skipped out on making my kids Valentine’s Day cards and bought some at the store… as a blogger I feel a bit like a traitor that I don’t have some special, yet insanely clever and creative Valentine’s Printable for my kids to proudly march into their classrooms. As a mom, I feel like I totally rocked it being that despite all the illness I managed to get my kids cards BEFORE Valentine’s I’d say that’s a mission accomplished! One point for mom!
So here I am showing you Valentine’s Decor. We are all honest here right? Technically this little banner is meant for my daughter’s room. Yes, I am a cheater. But you all know how much I depend on versatility in my projects to make it through the day! If I couldn’t reuse things in different spaces, well… this blog would seize to exist! I made this little banner because it’s my daughters absolute FAVORITE word! So often I find little pieces of papers with our family’s names all written out with the word “Love” next to each of us. She is such a sweet and caring little 4 year old, it only seems fitting to put this little banner in her room!
This Valentines Day Mantel may also be a little sneak peek into my Spring Mantel, because secretly you know you are all ready for Spring ; ) I love winter and snow, but I’m ready to say bye in February!
Today, I’m sharing the tutorial for this banner over at Forrent.com‘s Blog! So hop over and see how easy it is to create! My favorite part is the little string art heart, and of course the fact that it is made from scrap wood I had lying around. Am I the only weirdo who loves the smell of lumber? Probably… but don’t let that detour you from this adorable little project ; )
Last year I did manage to get creative with the kid’s Valentine’s Day cards : ) Get the printable here.
And if you want to make those little heart crayons, I have a tutorial for that too ; )
Have a beautiful day!!

I really like it. And I don’t think it matters if the banner was borrowed from another room. Don’t we all do that ? ???? It was perfect with those super cute Windows. I would have done that in a heart beat. I think most of us are right there with you. Exhausted from Christmas and the big clean up. Easy quick and simple sounds perfect for me! ❤️ Jenny @paintyourselfasmile

I want to make romantic surprises for someone. But unfortunately I’m so alone. Maybe someone is also single now and wants to get to know me?

I’ve never met on a dating site, and I’m very worried about what to write to a girl I like. Maybe you can give me some advice?

First off, you need confidence and patience. It is not always a girl that you like to reciprocate, so you also need to act very carefully so as not to be intrusive, but still attract her attention. I’m sure you can find some online dating tips on this page pdp2010.org. Use these tips wisely and then you will surely find a mate.

If there’s one thing you learn in life, it’s that people love to feel loved. You can never go wrong with a well-timed hug, or a lovely card. Boomf here is the solution to your woes (and we’re not talking about cards you’ll write yourself). We’ve found ourselves in this situation again and again: Every once in a while, we want to make someone a beautiful card because they mean the world to us. But then, we run out of time and end up sending an email or a text message that just doesn’t do justice to our feelings!
