When I was a little girl I think I could have lived on smoothies. My mom took care of her parents a lot and we were always on the go, so we developed this habit of making smoothies. I suppose that’s a pretty good habit to have! : )
Today I’m going to share with you a super easy recipe for a quick smoothie on the go. No fancy ingredients, and you can make it in less than 15 minutes!
Orange Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
I find smoothies to be so refreshing, it really just makes me feel good about my day. It’s been a while since I had one because I always hated getting yogurt or other ingredients to make it have that “sweet” taste, but using Nectresse adds the perfect amount of sweetness. Nectresse is the only 100% natural sweetener made from fruit – monk fruit extract to be exact. Pretty awesome right? Who would have thought! So are you ready to make a smoothie?
{Ingredients}
– one packet of NECTRESSE™Sweetener
– about 4 whole fresh strawberries
– 1 banana
– small handful of ice
– a very small amount of orange juice
– blender or Magic Bullet
{Steps}
One.
I put my ice in first. I just took a small handful and placed it in my magic bullet cup. Then I added my strawberries and the sweetener . Then I added just a dash of orange juice, and blended.
(If your ice is really thick you might want to put it in a baggie first and crush it up)
Two. Once that is blended I added my banana and blended again, if your consistency is a little off, just add ice if it’s to thin or a little more orange juice until it’s the right consistency
Three. Enjoy your Smoothie

I know… it looks delicious right! You can get a FREE sample of NECTRESSE™Sweetener right now by visiting the link. You won’t regret it. I have yet to find a sweetener other than sugar that doesn’t leave that aftertaste in your mouth… well this one doesn’t!
I’m a picky person, but this stuff is great in hot tea! Definitely the best natural sweetner I’ve had yet!
So what are you going to make with yours?
This sounds so delicious! I’d have to substitute raspberries because I’m allergic to strawberries but I’m sure it would still be so tasty!
Thanks Cyn! My dad is allergic too, he still eats them though, we are always getting onto him for that! Raspberries would be delicious, and even blueberries! Thanks for stopping by : )
I used to eat them too and everyone would yell at me when they saw the rash on my face. Then one day I went into anaphylaxis just from touching them and that was it. No more strawberries for me!
Yum! That looks delicious! The new sweetener is intriguing. Need to check it out!
Thanks Sara, I am loving this stuff! : )
