Holiday Glazed Ham Recipe

  • Author: Ashley

Ingredients

Scale

Ham

  • Foil Pan
  • 1 Fully cooked Spiral Cut Smoked Ham (for this recipe my ham is 8.37 lbs)
  • Juice from 1 can Mandarin Oranges
  • 1 Orange, sliced
  • Fresh Rosemary

Glaze

  • 1 can Mandarin Oranges, drained
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1 TBSP Yellow Mustard
  • 1 TSP Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions

Ham

  1. Preheat oven according to directions on ham package.
  2. Pour 1/3 cup of the juice from your mandarin orange can into the bottom of your foil pan.
  3. Add 1/2 of your orange slices into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Place ham cut side down in foil pan and cover tightly with foil.
  5. Bake about 10-12 minutes per pound (or as package instructs). When you have 30 minutes remaining, remove from oven.
  6. Brush glaze on the ham. Pour any remaining over the top.
  7. Place two sprigs of Rosemary in the bottom of the pan.
  8. Leave uncovered, and place back in the oven for remaining 30 minutes.
  9. After 15 minutes, baste the ham.
  10. Remove once finished cooking.

Glaze

  1. While ham is cooking add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk together.
  2. Heat and Simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Set aside until you are ready to apply to the ham.
