It’s time to take another trip back in time… if you missed my first two posts you can find them HERE & HERE. It’s always so fun for me to dig through other people’s blog.. I can admit it, I’m a creepy stalker! I love looking through old posts. So here is mine all in one post for you : )
This post will be linked up to the fabulous
First thing I made was a puppy dog towel (I was pretty much only making things for SYTYC at this point)
Then I made this Shabby Chic Bowl… also for SYTYC
Next, I found myself making these Anthro Knock Off Pillows, I won this week in SYTYC… these are still one of my most viewed posts!
Then we took a trip to Alaska for a job interview – so wish I could live there, it was BEAUTIFUL!
Made some custom file folders in an attempt to organize myself a little.. I still suck at it! P.S. these are still packed in a box from the move in November… that’s how organized I am!
August
Next came my Fabric Tea Set, another one of my most viewed posts. I would like to say that my kids sit down and play tea party and are all sweet and cute, but no, they throw it across the room (which is why it is made out of fabric and poly-fil : ) I know my kids too well!
Something that I’m personally proud of, my skirt upcycle… I think I’m mainly proud of it because I have to mask my sadness… this was my favorite skirt, but it just didn’t look good after kids. But now it’s a cute purse and while I still mainly carry around kids clothes, I do use this to carry around my yarn! Soon I’ll have a purse back!
Then, I released my first pattern! This was a big deal for me. I wish I was as motivated now as I was then! The end of the year is always just so busy for me! I’m really working on some new patterns for the shop!
My next SYTYC project was this photo prop set made from things around the house and thrift stores, super cheap to put together!
Then there were a few giveaways, guest posts, and normal blogging posts
I closed up the month with this floor pillow tutorial
and this Polka Dot Superhero costume for my niece
September
Man.. I was busy these 3 months! Let’s see what happened in September.
I made a weaved burlap bed tray
Showed you how to make a silhouette in Photoshop elements
and then how to print those silhouettes on fabric using your printer!
Of course there were random posts thrown in there… but these were my tutorials so feel free to look through my archives if you want to see the randomness!
Hope you are all had a great Christmas! : ) I am so excited for 2012, I have some great ideas (at least in my head) and can’t wait to get started on them all!!
