I have to say, I’m not the chef in the family. That would be my sister and her blog, Once a Mom Always a Cook. BUT something I do love is fresh vegetables and rainbow trout… both of which I found at the Farmer’s Market ! : ) Honestly, my lack of cooking is probably directly related to my hatred for cleaning the kitchen. I would cook up a storm if magical little mice would come through and clean up my kitchen and sing me chipper songs while the mess magically disappears. Let’s face it though, that only happens in Disney movies. : )
Anyways, I had a blast at the farmer’s market! The kids had a lot of fun eating… the food there was awesome : )
Ok, so maybe me and the hubs ate too… not just the kids. I’m a sucker for kettle corn!
So other than awesome fresh veggies, rainbow trout, and a ton of other yummy food, they had craft booths! Yay! : ) I met a few really nice ladies and wanted to share them with you today!
First I met Kelley with Gracie Designs
She was selling all kinds of sewn goodies! Everything she had was the most adorable fabric ever, and I just loved her set up!
{Check out Gracie Designs on Etsy}
Then I ran across a yarn store.
Wheely Wooly
I have really been missing crocheting lately. I feel like I never have time to sit down and do it anymore! They had some beautiful yarns to choose from!
They have their own farm and can tell you the name of the sheep that helped make the yarn! How cool is that?!
Stop by and check out their blog and read all about their farm!
Before we left I found one other adorable shop!
She actually runs a boutique pretty close to where I live! She was so sweet and had the most adorable little tie onesies! Those are what drew me in!
So if you are local, I would definitely stop by that store, I plan to next time I’m in Oshkosh! If not, stop by her website and see what all they have : )
All in all it was a great family outing and I LOVE buying all my veggies there. The kids only had one major meltdown, nothing a little kettle corn couldn’t fix ; )

Those owls were too cute! Yes.. we just moved here. Where in WI are you at? I’ve met several bloggers lately from WI, kinda exciting!
LOVE that face on your girl!! Wish we had something like this near us!! Looks like a fabulous time!
OMG it is awesome. I feel like I have been missing out my whole life! lol. Not only could I get fresh veggies and crafts. But they cut a fishes head off and cleaned it for me too! It’s like an outdoor grocery store with craft booths lol! : )
Um, you’re in Appleton?? Ok. I’m sorry if I’ve missed this information some where along the line, but I am just now realizing that you live literally 20 minutes away from me. REALLY???
Well technically I’m in Little Chute : ) Where are you? We actually just moved here the beginning of April! How fun to know a blogger so close, we might just have to meet in real life ; )!
My sister teaches art at Little Chute High School!
We live in Oshkosh. What fun it would be to meet up! I haven’t met any Wisconsin bloggers in real life, though I know we exist. ;) Where did you move from?
That would be awesome to meet up! We’ll have to make plans : ) We moved from Houston, TX… kinda far away ; ) I’ve met a few other bloggers from WI, but none practically down the road!
My daughter & I go to our local farmer’s market every Saturday … She is obsessed with the fresh squeezed lemonade there. It’s a great activity for the kiddos. I love the pics :)
I saw several fresh squeezed lemonade stands where we went. The kids really did have a good time, markets are just soo fun!
Nowadays, anything can be sold on special sites. I already know this from experience, because I successfully sell various of my products and even my culinary dishes and recipe books online. The main thing is to find a good site, I’ve been looking for a long time, studied the reviews here https://homeadvisor.pissedconsumer.com/review.html , very much to learn for yourself and make conclusions. So extremely recommend it. Good luck.
