Last year I made a couple of rag quilts for Christmas and plan to make 2 or 3 more this Christmas. There’s something really satisfying about giving handmade gifts to my family and loved ones.

I made “Gratitude Jars” for my loved ones with slips of paper (52 of them in each jar, one for each week) saying something I was grateful to that person for. I used pretty glass jars and wrapped the top with ribbon, twine or baker’s Twine. I also made some jewelry using E6000 and cachabons to make earrings and necklaces. Lastly, I made both ornaments and decor for my gifts, including candy cane reindeer!

Last year I made fingerless mitts for my daughters, ex-mother-in-law, sister and niece. They all seemed to love them, and I know they were used too, lol. I’m already working on crocheted gifts for this year too. Thanks for having the giveaway. Blessed be, hugs!!!

I made a car mat for my little man, a calendar for my mom, a picture holder for my dad, homemade christmas ornaments, a years worth of dates for my hubby, no sew fleece blankets for my brothers, candy ornaments for friends and a few other things I can’t remember…I’m already brainstorming this years gifts!

Last year I made place settings out of glass jars, making them into globes with ornaments inside showing the names of the people and their spots! Glitter included!

Last year my Mom and I made and donated lots of Christmas ornaments (birds, and birdhouses) for a Christmas tree we decorated for the American Cancer Society’s Fantasy House. This year I am planning on making some American Girl clothes for my cousin’s daughter.
I was lazy last year, but I did make gift card holders for my niece and nephew!
I made cookies, fudge and truffles! Yum
Last year I made handmade card sets and a vinyl sign for a sister-in-law.
