I made these Valentines Day Cards using my little ones as the inspiration!
What is one of the most common phrases during Valentines? Yup.. maybe not the MOST, but definitely at the top… it is — “I LOVE YOU” I am a pretty visual person so I decided I would show the lucky people who receive these cards that they are LOVED!
Just in case I am confusing you a little I took 3 pictures of each of my kids representing the words
“I” “Love” “You”
“I” “Love” “You”
My personal favorite is of their little bitty hands holding that giant heart : )
These are so easy to make, you just need to cut a few things out and glue it all together!
{Here’s how I did it}

Supplies
1} Pictures of your kids eyes, holding a construction paper heart, and one of them pointing at the camera (this was a little difficult for my 19 1/2 mo. old.. but we got something that works!
2} Cardstock for the actual card, scrapbook paper for embellishing, crochet thread, buttons, glue stick (or other means of sticking things) and a heart punch if you have it
3} Any other embellishments you might want to use!

{Tutorial}
1. Fold your card stock in half …I know this the hard part ; )
2. The Decorating — Get your pictures (I printed wallet size and it worked perfectly, but if you already have some, I’m sure you could cut them down to size. You are going to glue these to the card, wherever you like, then I embellished it with some scrapbook paper I cut up. I was trying to make my son’s a little on the manly side!
For my daughters though I did use cupcake liners for the polka dot accent on the top right corner, added some hearts and buttons, and it made it a little more girly!
For the cupcake liners I just cut out the bottom circle and used the ruffle-y sides to make scallops! It was a cut as you go kinda thing, no rhyme or reason to this method! : )

3. Next we take a look at the inside. I chose not to let my kids write all over it yet, because well let’s face it.. sometimes its only pretty for the parents and/or family : ) and quite frankly these might not look anything like they do now by the time my kids are done with them!
Now how I did this was, using my scrapbook buttons that already had sticky stuff on the back for me, I just placed them in the top corners and tied some crochet thread around them, not too tight because the buttons will pop off and it’s all glued down anyway.
Then, I literally glued my paper right on top of the string, so it’s not going anywhere! I laid it out to get the placement (as best I could without whipping out a ruler) and just glued those babies down!

4. Let your kids go crazy with them, or write something on them yourself!
Super easy right?!
