Hi Everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to my newest sponsor, Holly! She is so sweet and has the cutest etsy shop
Meet Holly:
Hi! My name is Holly. I’m a wife, mother, and student. I love reading and creating things, and in January I opened my shop Lit Prints. Lit Prints features very colorful prints of literature quotations. It features quotes from Jane Austen, Lewis Carroll, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and many others. I’ve always loved to read, and hope my shop motivates others to take the time to read a good book!
I asked her a few questions so you all could get to know her a little better!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still happily married, with my little one in school (can’t even imagine!). I hope to see my business grow, and be successful. I hope to purchase our first home, with a little den/library, and a big backyard for running around and gardening. I hope to see our family grow by one or maybe two. Every day is such an adventure, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
What does a normal day look like for you?
A normal day starts when my 2 year old wakes up -around 7:30. After breakfast and showers, we usually have running to do -the library, the printers, the park, post office. My husband leaves for work after lunch, where he does IT support. The afternoon is all for playing, reading, dancing, singing, walks outside, and creating things -and if I’m lucky, nap time too. After dinner (which can get pretty messy!) we do bubble bath, more playing, and a bedtime snack, before cuddling in bed for story time. Once Caden is asleep, I pick up the house, and start school work. I have an Associates degree, and am going to school full time online for my Bachelors. After that it’s time for Etsy! I try to make a new print each night and read up on business tips too. My husband gets home around 1030 pm and we hang out for a bit before I get some much needed sleep.
What is your favorite book and why?
I’m way too indecisive to pick just one. The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, and Crush by Richard Siken are definitely three favorites. They’re completely different styles of writing, but all so beautifully written and captivating, and tackle love in their own way. They’re perfect for cuddling up with on the couch on a rainy day and getting lost in!
