Can you believe it’s already almost Mother’s Day. I think this is the first Mother’s Day I haven’t been with my mom. : ( I had to mail her card off… it was so weird to know that I couldn’t just go over to her house and hand her a card and give her a hug. So I had to make it extra special for her! Handmade is always better, in my opinion! ; )
I have never really done much card making, but Lifestyle Crafts makes it so easy! I just LOVE using all these awesome die cuts. The pennant punches I used to make the banner are probably one of my favorites. I have a secret love for pennant banners : )
Every time I roll something through my epic I swear it’s like Christmas. It gives you these perfect little shapes… oh it makes me giddy! : )
I also got to use the inverted nesting circles die (middle picture below), which has so many uses! You can make these cute little flowers like I did or so much more. I might be making some cupcake toppers with them, maybe : )
I also have a little thing for birds. I cut these little guys straight from the most adorable birdie scrapbook paper I found at hobby lobby!
What did you get your mom for mother’s day?

I love the banner! I think I'm going to try it for a birthday card since Mother's Day has passed. :-)
I live far away from my mom too. It always makes me sad that I can't be there when she opens gifts or cards. Your cards are adorable! I LOVE pennants too! Thanks for partying with us this week.:)
These cards are just beautiful and a lot of love and work went into them. We are so happy that you linked up to our "Strut Your Stuff Saturday" and we hope you see you back next week!! -The Sisters
