It’s true though. Have you noticed how many women have started building furniture over the last few years? With all the amazing bloggers out there and so many tutorials and free plans. We are showing women who might’ve never thought to pick up a tool, that they can not only pick that tool up, but they can build with it too! It’s so exciting! I love hearing from single moms that they built their kids furniture, or fixed something on their homes! That’s just so fulfilling for me, and I love when people discover a new passion!

A jigsaw. There are a few projects that I would like to do but I need a jigsaw to do them.
Thanks for the gift guide Ashley! I LOVEEE what you said about women using tools and am so happy to have stumbled upon a Mother’s Day gift guide like this. My mom loves DIY projects, and all these tools look BOSS! I’m personally dying for a Cricut Explore Air 2! Not to mention, I love you added the Mint colored one to your list (Mint is my color, I saw it in blue in Michaels the other day). But of course, the Ryobi Circular Saw would be a really nice tool to own too ;)
I would LOVE several of these items! However, if I had my choice…. Ughhhh…. Miter saw or Cricut? I think the Cricut would get more use, and I can always use my brother’s miter.
I wish we had a table saw.
We just got one from Ryobi. It’s been my first time cruelly using one myself. I always had someone else to do it and I just played wood catcher on the other side. We got laminate flooring to put in, so I HAD to break down and just do it. I feel comfortable with the one we bought. It’s smaller than some we’ve had in the past with ex’s. But I can move it easily by myself. The table legs don’t fold down which is good and bad. Bad: it doesn’t collapse down to take of even less room. Plus is you don’t have to fool with collapsing it down and then resetting it up. I do wish the on off button was a little bigger to shut it off with my knee when I come to the end. I’m 5’6″ so I’m not sure if it would be a bigger challenge for someone much shorter. I love my Ryobi tools. Especially their new battery that lasts SO much longer. I used to have to have three of them to weed eat my yard or use the blower and screw gun. The new one lasts Forever! It costs more but will work on all your older Ryobi tools as well.
While I could use all of them, I think that Circuit Cut would be awesome to have!
If I could have any tool I would choose a pneumatic nail gun.
Cricket Cut would be wonderful !!
a miter saw

I repurpose old unwanted furniture so a good sander would be excellent, I sand down the furniture and either stain it or paint it.
Probably a power drill, I’ve never had one and I can tell you that they would have come in very handy!
Cricut Explore Air 2 would be great for my scrap booking!
I wish I had a kiln.
Hands down I need a Miter Saw ~ bad!
Would love to own a wet/dry vac they come in handy more than you’d think. I always look at them at the hardware store and just never make the purchase.
The one tool that i wish i had was a chain saw
I wish I had a circulating saw for larger wooden crafts.
Great blog! I love to hear other ladies opinions! For me I’d love some tools that I can safely teach my sons to use! A drill is a great thing to have around the house! Saw’s to practice mesuring and cutting to learn carpentry would be awesome too!
