I have some exciting news today! I’m going to give you a little peek into the October DIH Workshop at Home Depot where you will have the opportunity to learn how to build these adorable Seasonal Character Door Hangers!
October DIH Workshop Save the Date
Next Monday, October 17, 2016 I will be teaming up with some talented ladies to share our versions of these Seasonal Character Door Hangers. I can’t tell you what I’m making yet, but clearly it will have a farmhouse spin on… it’s what I do ; )
The DIH (Do-It-Herself) Workshops are designed to provide a mix of associate led instruction, demonstration, and some hands-on learning. I get so many women who email and comment every month saying how afraid they are to begin working with tools and wood. This is such a fantastic opportunity to dip your toes into the world of woodworking surrounded by your peers and professionals!
There are three types of Workshops offered – Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH) and Kids. Customers can learn how to build décor projects, how to make easy home repairs and how to operate tools through demonstrations and step-by-step instructions. There is something for everyone!
Let’s recap:
- You can Register to Participate in the October DIH Workshop.
- Monday October 17, 2016 I will share my version of this product alongside 20+ other women for a virtual party of building fun!
- Thursday October 20, 2016 you head out to your local home depot (after registering) and learn how to use some new tools and how to build these super cute Door Hangers!
So grab some friends, and let’s have some fun this month!! Let’s Do this! ; )
Joining events like this would be fun because you’ll be learning a lot of things especially on DIY projects which you can do also for your home. You’ll meet people who have the same passion as yours when it comes to home improvement. It sure an enjoyable event.
Thanks for giving me this opportunity.
We will be holding a workshop on October 20th at the RIT campus. The workshop will be held in room 1018, Building A, which is located at the corner of Gould Street and University Avenue. We are expecting over thirty people to attend this workshop.
