Good morning everyone! As we round out the end of this series I have yet another wood slice ornament for you : ) This one is a little different, but I am still burning things ; ). I created this little Banner Wood Slice Noel Ornament. I used some different wood slices for this one. These are from the craft store and are a little thicker and have a smaller radius.
So for this ornament you will need….
Supplies:
– Small Wood Slices
– Wood Burning Tool
– Twine
– Hot Glue Gun
How to make a Banner Style Wood Slice Noel Ornament
First, using your wood burning pen, write each of the letters on your wood slices. Then making sure you keep them in the correct order, flip them upside down. Cut a piece of twine long enough to go across the wood slices and have a loop on each end. (see picture)
Just a little tip that I didn’t realize until after – these like to twist forward, so try and keep the twine as close to the top of the wood slices as possible. Then hot glue in place making sure to give yourself the loops on each end for hanging.
Now you can decorate your tree with your new wood slice noel ornament!
Be sure to take a little stroll through the rest of today’s ornaments!

Those tiny wood slices are so cute! There are so many possibilities for them. Love how you spelled out “noel” with the wood burning tool.
