Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today is my day to share a tutorial in the Crafty Christmas Series, and I am going to share with you this great last minute idea for place cards.
I love holiday dinners and since we are away from family know, we have been trying to make it special for our kids. For Thanksgiving we all cooked together as a family and the kids had a blast. I’m trying to think up something fun for Christmas Dinner. Do you have any traditions?
This is super simple to make!
Here is what you will need:
- Scrapbook paper
- Alphabet Stamps
- PSA Stamps
So the first thing I did was stamp that cute little candy cane using my PSA Stamps (love!) and cut it out using an XACTO knife. For more info on what you can do with your PSA Stamps, make sure and check out their blog! There are some pretty great ideas on there! While you’re there, don’t forget to like them on facebook for all the awesome deals and promotions they run, plus you might even win one!
Then I cut out two rectangles and stamped our names on the smaller one.
Then you just glue the small one at an angle on the bigger one, and I used hot glue to attach my candy cane so it would stick out a bit.
and there you have it. Cute little place cards for your holiday dinner this year!
I just leaned mine against a fun glittery ball ornament and it looks great! Although my kids wouldn’t leave the balls alone while I was trying to take pictures. We’ll see how they do during our dinner : ) Luckily there will be food on there soon enough!
Now it’s time for you to share what you have been up to!
Are you new here? Let’s get to know each other!
