So I’m sitting here thinking…. am I really about to share this on the world wide web? Guys, my bathroom is hideous! Hideous! Like really really bad! Rewind with me – we bought this house a year ago and the top 2 things I wanted to get done was the kitchen and the two bathrooms. The other bathroom is this bad, but just imagine pink tile. Did you feel that shiver? That is called the shiver of ugliness and I feel it on those rare occasions where I stand in front of the mirror and manage to brush my hair! This winter = new bathroom!
Ok, Are you ready to see it…..
No, the angle is not off and you can stop turning your head sideways because the cabinet LITERALLY slopes back towards the wall. Now, I know what you are thinking… “Why would someone do that? The doors would just want to fall open all the time” Yes, the do fall open ALL.THE.TIME! Seriously Whoever designed these cabinets obviously didn’t plan on EVER using their restroom, cause it is not functional in any way, at all, ever!
Did you notice my cute little Listerine Bottle though? I didn’t let my hideous bathroom stop me from a little bathroom awesome-ness!
Just a tip: If you truly hate a room in your house. Add at least one thing in there that makes you smile and go allow you to imagine all the possibilities to come in the future! It helps, it really does. I needed a little chevron happiness in this room!
Ok, moving on to the shower.
Whew… it’s a good thing we don’t have a whole lot of visitors because our shower curtain is currently see through. As in cover your hiney cause this shower curtain sure won’t do it for you! You can obviously see the desperate need for a bathroom makeover right? It’s not just me! : )
I think I’ll just focus on my Listerine Bottle for now and imagine pretty things in this space! Wow! Really? Compared to my bathroom yours is like The Ritz (or some equally swanky toilet-thingy). I’m not even going to post a pic of pink faux marble counters and avocado toilet, tub and sink. We are in the middle of renos so I know it won’t be forever, but I feel like having a bit of a melt-down every time I pee.(Ewww?) On what planet was this combo ever a good idea? Good luck with your new terlet-room! :)
