I know Christmas is just around the corner, but just in case you were looking for some more ornaments to make this year, or perhaps file it away for next year, I have a simple pine cone ornament tutorial for you.
I am very into drop cloth this year. I went with a Rustic White and Gold Theme this year so I’m throwing in some natural elements (like the pine cones) and the drop cloth just fits in great! Last week I shared my Drop Cloth Christmas Tree Garland, and then earlier this week I shared my full tree reveal complete with a Drop Cloth Tree Skirt, so it only makes sense to have drop cloth on some ornaments right? These are super easy, even if you aren’t crafty you can make these! I promise : )
You will only need a few things!
For the Drop Cloth bow you can really use any fabric you want, or even a bow you purchased from a store, totally up to you!
First thing you are going to do is glue the twin on the bottom of the pine cone (the biggest end). once you put the twin in the glue, just put some more on top of the twine to make sure it doesn’t come undone.
Then you just take your bow and glue it onto the twine. Just eyeball it to make sure it hangs pretty and glue it onto the twine.
See! I told you it was easy! Just let the glue dry all the way and hang it up on your beautiful tree!
Feel free to browse around some of my other Christmas decor from this year : ) Enjoy this weekend and have a beautiful Christmas!
