This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wayfair. All opinions are my own!
We were originally planning on re-doing both of our bathrooms last year, but 2016 seems like as good a year as any to finally get these bathrooms completed! Both of our bathrooms were horribly out dated and we won’t even talk about the cabinets and how they were designed by an upside down drunk man, but you can read more about that in the “before” post. You remember that one right… it scarred you for life, haha!
Well today we are going to talk all things pretty and I’m going to share all my plans with you. I am almost done with this space, just a few last minute details and of course my favorite part, the decorating and accessories!
Industrial Farmhouse Bathroom Inspiration
The more I decorate my house the more I feel like my style keeps evolving, but for now I think I have landed in this Industrial Farmhouse style. I love mixing wood and metal, and I also love building furniture so this just seems to really fit at this point in our life.
My plans for this bathroom started with the gray vanities I found from Wayfair.com! I usually tend to go towards white cabinets, but I wanted really light colored walls, so a gray vanity just made sense with the overall design. There usually isn’t too much of a method to my madness, I just go with my gut ;)
I can’t wait to update our mirror and work on these industrial shelves. The shelves aren’t a new design by any means, but I’ve always wanted some like these and right above the toilet is going to be the perfect place!
The mirror is actually from Lowes, but I’ll be DIYing my own version with our existing mirror. I’m pretty excited about this project!
Metal baskets are going to be my go to storage for this bathroom. I already have a few of these from Walmart that I will likely be using, but there are so many versions out there these days, you can find them at any store!
We don’t have a whole lot of storage in our actual bathtub, there aren’t any shelves to store our shampoo so I will be using this corner storage caddy from Wayfair.com. I wonder if mine will stay that pretty… never mind I don’t wonder…. there is no way my kids will let it stay that pretty!
I originally wanted subway tile, but I am constantly reminded that we bought this house as an investment, so I’ve really been trying to set aside some of my strong desires and find a compromise that fits into a reasonable budget, so I went with plain white 4 1/2″ square tiles and the same color grout as my kitchen, and I have to say I’m really pleased with the results. It was about half the cost and still looks fantastic! I can’t wait to show you!
I’ll be sharing the full reveal really soon, so stay tuned for our Industrial Farmhouse Bathroom! And don’t forget to follow along on Instagram for sneak peeks and behind the scenes pictures!
Girrrrrrl this is right up my alley! Can’t wait to see it come together!
Love this. We just finished our master bathroom and are planning our guest bath now. I love the colors you picked. Can’t wait to see your makeover.
Hi Ashley,
Love your bathroom transformation! It’s beautiful!! We are planning to either purchase another home or build a new home in the near future. I am wondering what design tool you used to create your inspiration board. I think this type of tool would be a great help to me.
Thanks,
Michelle A.
Beautiful! What color did you use on the walls?
Where are those shelves from?? Beautiful!
Hi what’s the paint color called on the vanity?
What color grey did you use?
How did you attach the shelves to the pipe?
Hi I love the bathroom. Would you be able to tell me what vanity that is from wayfair? I have search and cannot locate. Where did you get the shelves from ?
