I am having so much fun getting the house ready for Christmas. I just love the warmness Christmas brings into this cold and gray season! I am totally swooning over all things plaid this year! This project combines white, plaid, and mason jars… does it get any better? These Metallic Wire Wrapped Christmas Mason Jars are just a great little accent to your Christmas decor!
This is such a quick little project, and these days – with my kids – I love me a quick project! You will only need a few things.
– Painted Mason Jar
– Scrap piece of plaid fabric
– Craft Wire (I found this gold wire at Michaels)
Metallic Wire Wrapped Christmas Mason Jar
To make this pretty mason jar, you literally just put the fabric on the jar and wrap wire around it all. Once you have it wrapped then just tuck the ends in and twist it in place to make sure it doesn’t unravel and slide off. Whew! That was a long one huh? ; )
I love how the metallic contrasts with the plaid. It just brings a little sophistication to a rustic element. I put a little Christmas Floral Stem in the mason jar and stuffed it was a plastic bag to keep it in place. You could fill this with anything really. I think it would be gorgeous with some poinsettias in there or maybe a little mini Christmas Tree. I am so excited for all the fresh Christmas Decor to come out! I need me some garland!
For now though this little guy will reside with my scented pinecones! Oh how I love the smells of Christmas!
