Ok, fine… my style changes quite often, so I just stick with eclectic ; ). But I definitely have a cottage/farmhouse take on my eclectic style. I love all things that pare painted white. My husband has threatened to hide the paint from me, but he always loves all these “white things”…. mainly our recent kitchen remodel.

Am I the only one who doesn’t seem to come across that fabulous reclaimed wood? I have looked everywhere and I’m lucky to find a few pieces. Maybe I just don’t look hard enough, but sometimes you just want wood to look old, but don’t have the time to hunt it down. Well… I shared how I attempt to accomplish this goal with my tutorial on How to Weather Wood.

And I am getting ready to reveal my full Christmas Home Tour for this year, but I’m still cramming things in closets and corners…. I mean cleaning, but I did manage to get my pretend mantel decorated! You can see my Rustic Woodland Christmas Mantel here.
