I hope everyone is recovering quickly from Thanksgiving! I can’t believe it has already come and gone. Does it feel like it flies by tos fast for anyone else? ….especially after all that cooking. At least it got me out of cooking all weekend, I can live with that! But it has definitely come and it has gone, so you know what that means right? It’s time for Christmas. I know, I already opened the Christmas door when I shared this year’s Mantel and my 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments, but today I’m here to share 100 Christmas projects and recipes from 25 of your favorite bloggers! We thought it would be fun to gather up some of our favorite and most popular posts from last year all in one place for your browsing pleasures! : )
First I’d like to thank Rachel at Maison De Pax for putting all this together for us! She is fantastic!!
I always have these grand plans to totally deck out my house for Christmas, but let’s be honest… this is a busy time of year. Last year I pretty much just got up my tree and mantel and that was a huge deal. I did a little better this year, but with my husband being a worship leader he has a pretty full schedule around this time of year. We also live at least a 2 days drive away from all of our family so my decorating is limited to anything a 1 year old can’t attack and destroy and that I can complete with him chasing me around. I’m digressing… let’s take a look at those Christmas projects!
Last year I totally fell in love with real garland. It was my first year using it and it was just gorgeous, plus it left my house smelling FABULOUS! You can get all the details for my Rustic Christmas Mantel here. I reused my drop cloth stockings this year and finally posted a tutorial, just in case you were wondering ; )
Salty and sweet… does it get any better than that? Last year Audra shared these M&M Kissed Pretzels and OH MY! I could eat these all day! Typically I’m a salty snacky kinda person, but I also love a good bite of chocolate. This combination of salt and sweet is just divine! You and everyone you know will LOVE these! Make them! You’re welcome! ; )
I was so excited about last year’s Rustic Glam Christmas tree. I worked with Balsam Hill and this tree guys, I love it! Everyone thought it was real! By far the best fake tree I’ve ever seen in my life! I can’t wait to share this year’s tree with you! I will posting it later this week. It’s a lot of the same ornaments, but I make my own popcorn garland after wanting to for years and it’s got more of an old fashioned feel to it.
And my sister did it again with these Hot Chocolate Cupcakes! That whipped topping… yes, it is a peppermint marshmallow frosting. YUM! I made them for a Christmas Party we hosted last year and they were a HUGE hit! Such a fun treat to bring to a party!
So those are some of my favorite things from last year! I hope you enjoyed them, but now it’s time to enjoy even more Christmas Awesome-ness! Take a stroll through some of my favorite bloggers’ Christmas Projects! I cannot be held responsible for you loosing track of your day while being pulled into all these beautiful pictures. I’m sorry… I’m an enabler I know ;) You won’t regret it though!! Have a beautiful day everyone! Just click on the links above each of the pictures to be taken to that blog so you can browse around!
Simply stunning, Ashley. I’m heading over to see more about that tree right now! Thanks for sharing!!
