I still can’t believe we are talking about Christmas. It feels like it was just summer! It always goes by fast doesn’t it? But the time has come and gifts ideas are fresh in everyone’s mind. I love getting to hand somone a gift that I thought of specifically for them and that has meaning to it. Let’s not kid ourselves, I have given out plenty o’ gift cards… I just prefer something I can wrap! Am I the only one who loves to wrap gifts??
It’s not too often I get to browse through a store without my kids, so the other day when I was walking through Dollar General I kept spotting all these cute little things and I decided I’d put together a quick Christmas gift idea. Everyone loves food right? You just can’t go wronge with a cute Kitchen gift! I might just have to send this down to my sister. She is always in the kitchen and how cute are these little red utensils for photo props?
Here’s what’s included in my little gift idea:
The Oven Mitt / hot pad / dish towel was just $5
The Tongs were $2
The Rubber Spatula was $1
The Cutting Board was $2
So for a grand total of $10 I was able to put together an adorable Christmas Gift idea!
Christmas Gift Idea for the food lover
To bundle it all up, I detached the 3 piece set and put the towel inside the oven mitt along with the tongs and rubber spatula. I put the hot pad on top of the cutting board, and the filled oven mitt on top of that. Then I just wrapped it all up with some green rafia and tied a cute little bow! If you still want to give someone a gift card, just slip it right int he oven mitt for an adorable display.
