Looking for the perfect Crispy Baked Chicken Wings Recipe? These are perfectly seasoned and ready to add your favorite wing sauce! This post is sponsored by Meijer, however all opinions are 100% my own.
It’s Fall and I know people are often hosting get togethers. However today’s recipe will not only be great for those gatherings, but just a fun family meal anytime! The main reason I love cooking wings for my family is because I have picky eaters for kids and they love the option to choose their own Meijer Made Wing Sauce, because clearly not all of them prefer the same sauce ;). Let’s talk about how to host a fun Chicken Wing Bar with this Crispy Baked Chicken Wings Recipe!

How to Prepare Chicken Wings
When making chicken wings you may or may not need to cut them up. The chicken wings I’m using from Meijer come whole and I need to separate the wing tip, wingette, and drumette (You can find a video of me doing this in my IG Story Highlight titled “Chicken Wings”). Once you cut everything up you can either dispose of the wing tips or save them to make a homemade chicken broth.
One of the most important tips for getting good, cripsy chicken wings is to pat them dry first! After I cut them up, I pat them dry before adding the wings to a large bowl.
How to Cook Wings
Once in the bowl I toss all the wings with olive oil. I drizzle just enough to make sure they are lightly coated (about 2 tbsp). Then I lay them out on a baking sheet with a baking rack. The rack helps get those wings to crispy perfection. If you don’t have a baking rack I would suggest cooking them skin side up on a foil lined baking sheet.

Sprinkle the chicken wings with salt and pepper on both sides and cook them skin side up.

How to Create a Fun, Family Friendly Wing Bar
After the wings have fully cooked add desired amount into a bowl and toss with your favorite Meijer Wing Sauce. Our favorites are the Garlic Parmesan, Korean BBQ, and Bourbon Honey Mustard. I like to serve them with a little extra for dipping!
Tips for Crispy Chicken Wings
Let’s go over my top tips to get a crispy baked chicken wing!
- Pat wings dry before cooking
- Toss in olive oil
- Cook on a baking rack

What to Serve with Chicken Wings
Baked Chicken Wings are obviously a messy finger food. When making a full meal out of it I serve it with finger foods. That way nobody is going back and forth between using their hands and a fork. Fresh veggies compliment Chicken Wings so well, so I like to slice those up while the wings cook.

With an interestingly created crush bill – a mix of corn, rye, and grain – Old Crow is a whiskey that gives a taste that is absolutely American. This, combined with its rich history – which remembers having an impact for the Civil War – gives the brand a old crow whiskey review lot to respect even presently as it is appreciated all over the planet. Truth be told, similar to an old American whiskey brand, Old Crow is presently traded to a few nations remembering those for Europe and Asia.
