Hi friends! I know I say this at the beginning of every post, but I just can’t grasp how quickly time is flying! It’s almost Christmas and the shopping is in full swing. Today I’m sharing a super quick and Easy 30 Minute Gift Idea. The fun part is that this idea can easily be transitioned for any occasion (housewarming, bridal shower, birthday, Christmas, etc).
Cute right?? You will only need a few items to re-create this look, and you’ll be on your way to the perfect handmade gift!
Supplies:
- Wooden Utensils
- Plaid ® 2 in 1 Craft Tool
- Oven Mitt
- Martha Stewart Crafts ® 6oz Multi-Surface Chalkboard Paint Acrylic Craft Paint – Black
- Martha Stewart Crafts ® Basic Brush Set – 5pc
- Wooden Tag
- Twine
Easy 30 Minute Gift Idea Tutorial
First take your wooden utensils and write out the words you wish to write on them in pencil.
Heat up your Plaid ® 2 in 1 Craft Tool and use it to trace the words written on the wooden utensils. It’s best to go slow and make sure it is burning the wood correctly. Please use extreme caution when operating this tool, it gets very hot and can cause burns!!!
I used a wooden tag I had on hand and painted it with Martha Stewart Crafts ® 6oz Multi-Surface Chalkboard Paint Acrylic Craft Paint – Black following the instructions on the bottle.
Next just insert your wooden utensils into an oven mitt of your choice, thread the wooden tag with twine, and tie it around the oven mitt.
Now you have the perfect gift to give to friends or family!
And the best part about this gift is that it can totally be changed up for any holiday or occasion! Do you have any favorite quick gift ideas? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!!

I’ve been seeing these adorable gift jar ideas all over the internet, and have been wanting to try my hand at my own. I think they’re a great idea because they are reusable, cute, and easy on the wallet and also choose rushessay services to get quality work. Here’s what you need to make your own: mason jars, Mod Podge, scrapbook paper, ribbon, string for hanging,
