It’s the 3rd week of this year’s Christmas Room Series, and I’m excited to give you the first peek into our living room. It’s far from finished, but it’s our first decorated room since we’ve moved in, so that’s enough to get me through the remainder of the year. 2017 will have some amazing things to come, but I just want to sit back and relax for the rest of 2016. If you are here visiting from Fox Hollow Cottage, Welcome, I am so excited to have you here today for our Neutral Christmas Living Room Tour! Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy! You can also catch with our Christmas Tree and Entryway Tours! Don’t forget to visit the next Living Room Tour at the Bottom of the post!!
Being that we recently moved into our new home I used all the same decorations from last year. I usually do, but typically I’ll incorporate some new things in. However, this year I just didn’t have the time to look for all things new ; ).
Making it a point to reuse items from previous years was actually a little more fun than I thought it would be. It was a little challenge for me, but I am loving our Neutral Christmas Living Room!
The thing I probably miss most from our last house is my giant black piano that I used as a mantel. This house doesn’t have a mantel, or a piano, so I’m using my tv stand as a place where I change out seasonal decor.
Something about Christmas, but it makes me want to decorate in the coziest way possible. I filled our so called mantel with mini Christmas trees, wood tones, and candles. Christmas also makes me want to put candles everywhere and this year I thought I’d even put them in our fruit basket!
And without a real mantel I had to find a place for our stockings. We have this little half wall in our living room that leads down to the basement, and I utilized this space for our Christmas Decor!
I actually got some free clippings from Home Depot that they trimmed off their trees and the guy even helped me load it up. Nothing beats free decor! Especially since I don’t have any evergreen’s in my yard!
I added a pinecone garland I got from Michaels, I few white Christmas Balls, and our new Christmas Stocking Holders. So I guess I did technically buy something! Since we normally use a piano with nails, I didn’t have any, so that’s fair right??
I love how simple these are!
I not only used these free clippings above our stockings, but I also like to tuck little pieces all around our home.

Thanks Randi!
Love how you decorated your new home for Christmas! What color did you paint your walls??? Love it!!
Thanks so much Stacy! I wish I knew. This is the color it was painted when we moved in. I need to do a color match though!
I really like the edit you used on the photos posted do you mind sharing your preset?
Wow, Thank you so much. I don’t actually use a preset, I just manually adjust everything and then batch edit my photos and tweak from there.
What color are your walls here and in your bathroom post? I love them! :)
Excuse me, but where did you purchase the beautiful tv stand in your living room? It’s beautiful and I can’t seem to find one like it anywhere I look! It’s gorgeous
Ditto!
I can’t believe Germany really got a Premier Event att the next years Capcom Pro
Tour.
I’m really happy for that and I can’t wait for it next year.
I think this is a really good opportunitty for the grman Street Fighter community
As a musician, I am always on the lookout for the best tools to improve my performances. I recently purchased a piano from Steinway. In fact, the experienced pianists are very excited about the Steinway virtual concert grand piano and I have to say that this is one of the best pianos I’ve ever played. The sound quality is impeccable and the accuracy is outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class piano.
Can I share it?
love it more before it dry
