Simplify your decor with these easy summer mantel styling ideas that will leave your space feeling fresh and organized on a budget!
We’ve been working on so many projects trying to wrap them up before the summer so we can enjoy it as much as possible with our kids. I’ve been covered in paint for what feels like months and it was nice to clear out our living room, get it clean, and make a few subtle changes. I hope you’ll enjoy these Simple Summer Mantel Styling Ideas, and don’t forget to visit some of my friends at the bottom of the post.

I didn’t buy anything for this Summer Mantel Styling, but just rearranged a few things, moved some faux greenery over and just simply removed some things. Sometimes less is more, and in a season where everyone is home it’s nice to have simplicity in as many places as you can get it! It just helps me keep the house clean when I have less stuff everywhere.
Add Greenery for a Summer Vibe

Nothing says summer like a little greenery. I’m always moving mine around into different pots and vases. Ferns just scream summer to me. Maybe it’s because I was raised in the south and I always picture ferns hanging from a porch ceiling on summer evenings.
Concrete and Shiplap Fireplace

You can really see here that I didn’t change much from my Spring Mantel. I swapped the candlesticks, added a tall faux plant on the left side and moved the branches over to my shelves.

Add Height Around Fireplace
The large faux plant was originally over by my tv stand, but I just shuffled some things around and this just felt more like summer!

I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into our living room. I’m not sure I’ll do much other seasonal decor this year while we work on other spaces in our home, but I’m hoping the weather clears up so I can finish up the painting on our front porch for a nice summer porch reveal! But let’s be honest, I can’t wait to do a Fall Porch. I’ve never really had that opportunity!
