I am very fortunate to create custom Pincurl Girl portraits for special birthdays or graduations. But if you are looking for a smaller gift, I want to show you how to personalize a print with your everyday alphabet stamps and embossing powder. Let’s get started.

Step 1: Choose the print or art work you want to customize. I have found there is the perfect amount of space on the shirt ofthese Pincurl Girls. Find the right size letter stamp to fit on the print.  I have chosen a .75″ letter G, which will fit nicely on her shirt.

Step 2: Choose the color of ink and embossing powder that will match the print. I am going to use black ink with a clear embossing powder.

Step 3: Ink the stamp generously but try not to get ink on the sides of the stamp. Practice a few times on another sheet of paper to make sure you get the feel for it. On my first try, I didn’t press down hard enough and the ink isn’t as solid as I want.

Step 4: Once you get it right, press it the stamp on the print and immediately cover with embossing powder.

Step 5: Dump the excess powder back into the jar and blow away any loose powder before heating.

Step 7: Take your heat gun and give it a go.

Note: The paper might curve up from the heat but it will lay flat again after it cools.
