Pretty sure it has been established that I LOVE pinterest!
As I am in the process of redecorating my living room Pinterest has been there to help me through it, because we all know once you have children your brain sort of goes a little coo coo! So I have a little something to help me remember the things I see!
I posted a few days ago the dresser I found… you can find it here. This dresser will be my new TV stand!
and I want it to look a little something like this
My Annie Sloan paint is supposed to come in today and I am super excited!
Now, as for the colors of my living room, I am thinking of going with something like these
I am leaning towards the first one… what do you think?

I found a coffee table similar to this side table and this is EXACTLY the look I want! I can’t wait to get started on this!
Now for couches… If I just had some extra money lying around I would be these from pottery barn
So… since I don’t have money lying around.. I will settle for these from Ikea! Surprisingly they have gotten great reviews! I hope that stands true for me!
I haven’t looked too hard for fabrics yet, but I did run across this one the other day and I like the style of it. But I think it might be a bit too dark for the look I’m shooting for.
Anyways… now you know a little more why I LOVE pinterest so much! They even have this little button next to the things you pin so you can copy paste it right into your posts!
I am really going for some lighter colors. My husband and I have only been married for 5 years and the majority of our stuff has been given to us or we bought because it was really cheap. So I have ended up with a ton of dark wood furniture and an overall dark house… I need some color and some light! Unfortunately I will have to go a while with a living room and a dining room that are visible from each other and won’t match an ounce, but I have to start somewhere.
Baby Steps!
Plan for today (assuming my paint does in fact arrive):
Paint my dresser so I can put a TV back in my living room because my son is dying to play Wii!
