I’ve always wanted to host a beautiful Thanksgiving meal like you see in the movies. You know the kind… where all the kids are dressed, shirts tucked in and very well behaved. The adults are wearing dresses and slacks with a glass of wine and calm conversation as everyone smiles and laughs at family jokes. Right? I mean I know these kinds of things don’t really happen, but if I’m being totally honest, one day I’d like to give it shot and ditch the paper plates and pajamas!
Today I’ve teamed up with an amazing group of women to share our Fall Tablescapes with you! While this table isn’t big enough to seat everyone for a Thanksgiving meal, we can pretend!
This year for our Tablescape I wanted a little bit more of a modern vibe and a little less rustic. These tall black candlesticks were the perfect centerpiece. It fill the space beautifully without totally restricting the view across the table.
I just added a few pieces of greenery to the table in between the candlesticks. It’s just bouquet fillers you can easily find at the grocery store! I love having something fresh on the table!
Since our table is pretty small I didn’t want to add too much, but I did add a few cute little faux pumpkins.
And to bring in a little bit more of a fall vibe I added these little corn husks to the plates alongside my Free Fall Printables
