With just a few plants, pumpkins, and things I had around the house, I created this Simple Modern Neutral Fall Porch Decor!
It’s been a minute since I’ve decorated a porch. It will be hard to beat the porch we had in our historic home. I do however love our new porch! I kept it pretty simple this year and decided I wouldn’t spend much on decor this year. We have a lot of other landscaping projects we are working on, so just keeping it realistic. We also have pretty high winds sometimes, so the simple Modern Neutral Fall Porch Decor route is best for us.
Fall Porch Plants
To create this Simple Modern Neutral Fall Porch Decor, I purchased a few Fall Plants from the store. I had this idea to purchase things I can hopefully bring into the garage once it’s cold and I can plant in the Spring, but I have no idea if that will work. I purchased some Autumn Joy Sedum, and then I completely forgot the name of the plant that has the purple leaves.
Of course, I had to include a few mums, but I just purchased some really small ones this year to throw in for some color. Then I added pumpkins. The boxwood plants are some faux ones I’ve had for a few years and all the planters I already had on hand.
The corn stalks are something I have never used before, but I felt like I needed to add some height. I usually opt for the purple fountain grass, but those are significantly more expensive, and I thought I’d try something new this year.
Front Porch Fall Decor
On the other side of our porch, I added some pillows to our chairs along with a few more plants.
And now I have officially decorated our first Fall porch in the new build!
