For a little bit the temperatures dropped here in Utah, but we are back up to full blown summer heat. That’s ok though, the kids are in school so my internal clock still says Fall! Today I’m teaming up some lovely bloggers, hosted my my sweet friend Taryn Whiteaker, to share our Fall Mantels with you (You can find the links to the rest at the bottom of the post)! Since it’s still kind of early I wanted to create this Simple Early Fall Mantel that I’m sure will slowly change as we get closer to Thanksgiving! : )
My inspiration for this mantel started with these beautiful candlesticks I came across at Hobby Lobby! I adore how tall and thin they are. I’m sure they will eventually make appearances throughout our home!
The candlesticks also help fill that awkward space we have between our media console and the TV. I was supposed to build something to go here a long time ago, and it still hasn’t happened… ooops!
And of course I had to use books in my decor! I wish I had an actual reason for this, but to be perfectly honest with you the reason is because I already have them… and I haven’t figured out what else to use to fill the space. ; )
