I just shared with you guys that we recently moved, if you missed it you can see our new house here. When we moved in we new immediately that our X Brace Farmhouse Table wasn’t going to fit in this space. That table was kind along and skinny, and I needed something a little shorter since we are often walking around the space where our table lives. I have kids heads to think about here!
Naturally I built a new Modern Farmhouse Dining Room Table before even unpacking. That totally makes sense right??
This just proves my indecisiveness, but I will be staining this a different color. I really love this color, but it just doesn’t work with our space. Our cabinets are dark, and I thought I’d like it… but I’m very visual and I can’t ever decide on anything until I see it in the space.
This is another easy build, and honestly the perfect beginner project because you don’t have to do anything fancy or weird at all. It’s all straight cuts and standard pocket holes, so if you desperately want to learn how to use a Kreg Jig, this is a fantastic project to learn on! Plus it costs under $65 in lumber!! So if you make a mistake you can still make dinner!

What a beautiful table! I would love to try my hand at woodworking, if only my projects could turn out to be so beautiful.
This is a great site. A lot of things I can learn. snow plowing
Hi. I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but for #6, where exactly are the pocket holes to put the table top to the bottom?
