This Fall Mantel Decor with Built ins shows how easy it can be to bring Fall touches into your home as we transition out of summer!
I’ve been tackling our Fall Decor a little slower than usual this year. Typically I pull everything out and do it all at once. Maybe it’s the craziness of this year, but for some reason I’ve just been doing one space at a time. So today I’m here to share my next space with you, our Fall Mantel Decor with built ins! The best part of today’s post is that I’m joining some lovely ladies, hosted by my sweet friend Krista from The Happy Housie. You can browse through over 20 other Fall Mantels at the bottom of my post!
Concrete Fireplace Fall Mantel Decor
We did a complete makeover of our fireplace last fall and it’s been one of my favorite features of this whole house! I think I feel like the fireplace kind of speaks for itself so I don’t need a ton of decor surrounding it. We’ve never had it inspected so we don’t actually burn wood in here, but sometimes I light some candles or just fill it with pretty pumpkins :) We actually got around to painting the interior of the fireplace, so you can look back to our first Fall Mantel with this fireplace and see the difference. It look so much cleaner!
Fall Mantel Decor with Built Ins
As I mentioned I keep things pretty simple. This year I picked up a new vase from Hobby Lobby and added these really cool faux stems! And of course the candlesticks that refuse to leave my mantel. ;)
Fall Decor in the Living Room
Let’s look at it from a design standpoint though. With those built ins next to the fireplace, adding more decor to the mantel makes it all look very cluttered. Even though my fireplace doesn’t scream Fall by itself, when you add in the built ins it makes up for it!
If you missed it last week, I shared how I made this fun little framed piece of Fall Art. It’s super complicated ;). No it’s literally like the easiest thing ever! haha!

We don’t really burn wood in here because we’ve never had it inspected, but on occasion, I’ll light some candles or simply fill it with gorgeous pumpkins.
