A delicious Spiced Whipped Topping recipe!

Spiced Whipped Topping Recipe
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 TBSP powdered sugar, sifted
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters (or whisk attachments) in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add the whipping cream to the chilled bowl and beat until stiff peaks are just about to form (approximately 4-5 minutes).
  3. Beat in vanilla, sugar, and spices until peaks form.
You may add more or less sugar to taste, but for my family we found 5 TBSP was perfect. Enjoy this spiced whipped topping on top of pumpkin pie, coffee, cupcakes, pancakes or waffles. The possibilities are endless!

Just wondering how long this stays “whipped”? I have seen a whipping cream stabilizer that incorporates gelatin, but I haven’t tried that. I would just like to make it several hours ahead of time if possible. Thanks!!

Hi Cindy, Thank you for stopping by! It will definitely stay whipped several hours ahead. I have never had a problem with it not staying in a whipped consistency. Just refrigerate after preparing and use within 2-3 days.

Hmmmm, I know this is delish! This is another reason I’d love to have one of those whipped cream “thingys” that you can keep the product fresh and cold until ready to use. I worked PT at Williams-Sonoma for about a year and just never did buy one. :(

Thanks so much for sharing this! Now I want a cup of coffee ~
