We had our first official snow a few days ago and despite the fact that it’s already melted, the weather is putting me in the Christmas spirit! Today is the first day of a Christmas Series I will be doing here on the blog. Each Monday for the next month myself and a lovely group of ladies will be sharing our Christmas homes with you one room at a time. I often find it overwhelming to scroll through tons and tons of pictures and we hope that this will make it easier and more enjoyable for you! If you are here visiting from My Fabuless Life, Welcome! I’m very excited to have you stop by today, and if you’re new here you can read a little bit about me here. At the bottom of our Simple Christmas Entryway Tour you’ll find the link to the next Christmas Entryway! : )
Welcome to our Entryway! This is officially the first space I have decorated for Christmas, and is honestly the only clean space! Given the fact that we just moved I decided to take it simple this year. I normally can’t wait to run out and buy fresh garland and wreaths but right here, right now, in this moment, I just want to never look at another box again!
Noel Pillow | Joy Pillow | Striped Pillow
I just threw a few simple pillows, a throw blanket, and a mini Christmas tree I found at Michael’s last year on our new bench!
Is it just me or do you suddenly have the urge to frost everything for Christmas. It reminds me of the movie How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days when he pitches his company about diamonds and comes up with the slogan “Frost Yourselves”. I kinda feel the urge to frost my decor. Yes, I’m a total weirdo and this is only the beginning of movie quotes around this house. We literally play games where we have to guess the movie lines. I’m not so great. My husband however can quote an entire scene from a movie that hasn’t even begun showing at theaters. Well now that you have our movie family history ….. Let’s talk about how I decided to hang my White Berry Wreath on the mirror. Hint: Use suction cups for hanging wreaths on glass!
Women of Pinterest “Frost Your Homes” – Ok, I’m done I promise! If you haven’t seen that movie, you really should, cause then I wouldn’t seem quite as crazy! ; )
I added these Gray Baskets under our new bench for storage. Don’t tell anyone but they are totally empty right now. I seriously doubt they will stay that way, but I thought it was a great place to hide shoes and other miscellaneous items that seem to congregate in our entryway!
I hope you enjoyed this little space in our new home! I can’t wait to show you guys all the plans I have for this house! Next year is going to be amazing, I can feel it!!
