It’s officially the last week of the Christmas Room Series! If you’re just now tuning in I joined a group of fabulous women to take you on a tour through our homes, one room at a time. We kicked things off with our Entryways, then we shared our Christmas Trees and Living Rooms. Today I’m sharing my Modern Farmhouse Christmas Dining Room with you. If you wondered over from Fox Hollow Cottage, WELCOME! So excited to have you here! And after you’ve toured my space, don’t forget to continue on to the next home via the link at the end of the post!
I haven’t quite decided what will go on the wall permanently behind the table, but for now I added a chalkboard and my mason jar drying rack. It always takes me so long to figure out what I want to hang where and I ultimately just end up leaving everything leaning on the walls. Change is happening though because I’m hanging stuff on walls people! I don’t want to leave things leaning anymore… it’s just a nail hole… I can change it! Overcoming real issue here people, hahah!
So up the chalkboard went, all dressed up for Christmas with just a plain wreath and a drop cloth bow!
I might not have nailed down the space, but we’ll be enjoying it for the remainder of the Christmas season! And I hope you enjoy the rest of our Modern Farmhouse Dining Room Tour!
Thank you so much for joining me in sharing our Dining Room! I hope this holiday season has brought joy and laughter into your lives and then you enjoy the rest of 2016 before welcoming in 2017! Don’t forget to stop by my sweet friend, Alicia from A Burst of Beautiful‘s blog for her dining room tour!
I am a leaner too! For like, forever. I was so bad after we put the new floors in (I had painted everything from the ceiling down) that my wall were naked for months. haha. Here’s to nail holes. We can always fill them. So true.
Merry Christmas :) xo Shan
So glad I’m not the only blogging leaner ; ) xoxox
I love it!! My husband has had to learn the lesson of its only nail with me. Every new season, I change things around. Love the centerpiece!! Beautiful :)
I still have art to hang!! I’m using command strips more and more to hang things- but it is a cinch to fill in a nail hole!! Love your dining room set up and your centerpiece is gorgeous in the vintage toolbox!! Thanks so much for inviting me along in this inspirational series! Merry Christmas friend! Pinning ! Xo Heather
Can you tell me where the pendant light is from?
So this one actually came with the house. I think the man who lived here before us built it. : / Sorry I’m not much more help on that one. I’ve actually looked around and haven’t found anything similar either. : (
