Join me in this 8 week journey to transform our master bedroom from hideous to a cozy retreat. This week I’m sharing our Master Bedroom Design! This post is sponsored by Article, all opinions are 100% my own.
It’s that time of year again. It’s time for the One Room Challenge. I’ve participated 3 times so far. The first one was for my daughter’s room. Our Kitchenette was the second time around. Last but not least I did our dining room, which ultimately ended up running extremely behind schedule and still isn’t quite how I want it. However it was a tremendous improvement from what it was! But let’s jump into our Master Bedroom Design featuring some of my favorite pieces from Article!

Bedroom Makeover
For this Challenge I’ll be tackling our Master Bedroom. For some reason our bedroom is always the room that gets the least amount of attention. Probably because I’m always so focused on having a comfortable place for our family to hang out. But starting right now I’m transforming this room!
Obviously I bleached the heck out of this room when we moved in, but overall it’s remained in pretty rough condition.
However all that changes right now! We had to hire some contractors to move some walls around to give us a functioning door and that’s finally happened so over the next 8 weeks I will be sharing the design and DIY process to making our room our cozy little haven where we get to take a break from the crazy of life!
For my overall design I want a clean and bright space that feels streamlined yet cozy. I’ve said this before but I think living in a constant state of construction makes me crave minimalism. The plan is to get all new furniture and create a home office area for my husband. That will be more temporary until we get our actual attic office remodeled, but a nice little writing desk would be nice anyways!

I’m still working through the design and seem to be changing my mind daily, but I know I want to incorporate some lighter woods with blacks and grays.

Hello, a very good article, I read it with pleasure. By the way, you get a great design, but I once entrusted this business to professionals such as Ramotion and didn’t want to make a choice!
Always look forward to your makeovers and DIYs, Ashley, but this ORC master bedroom is going to be gorgeous! Looking forward to all the progress posts! I excited to be featuring you at Tuesday Turn About today! Pinned!
That was really good for me.
Very interesting article. I am studying to be a designer, so I was very interested in this information. By the way, guys, are there any design students among you? Maybe you know why designers have so many essay writing assignments at university? Could this be useful for a designer in the future? What do you think? If you also do not understand why we write so many essays, then pay attention to this site https://pickthewriter.com/ here you can choose a service that will deal with essays instead of us. And we will pay more attention to new design ideas.
good post

Thank you for writing so many tutorials that design students can put into practice. You have written the perfect tips for creating a comfortable and modern office in a small space.
It’s great that you give bold advice and blog constantly new materials. Last semester, I also started writing my blog. I study medicine and my first posts were about physician assisted death essay see here After that I had a lot of comments with criticism and I did not dare to write more articles for now . You write regularly, no matter how much of the criticism is directed at your ideas and articles. This is great!
I’m not going to design my bedroom until I’ve sorted out the plumbing and waterproofing of the basement. But thanks for the ideas!
I’m helping my parents make repairs to their house. We encountered such a problem as the difficulty in finding specialists in basement waterproofing. If you are also facing a similar problem, then I can advise you great basement waterproofing toronto specialists https://www.draincom.ca/basement-waterproofing-toronto/ . I have made sure that these guys are real professionals of their craft and you can rely on them.
This design is going to be special one according to the situation.
This will be such an awesome transformation! rainbow obby
